my life at 8 months

These are a few of my moms favorite pictures. Life is good hanging out with my mom and dad. Right now I am scooting on the floor, clapping, eating sweet potato puffs, and watching PraiseBaby. Not all at once-but these are my favorite things to do in the span of each day. I am still taking 3 naps a day (that are too short for mom sometimes) and sleeping 12 hours a night. So they should be thankful. I have several friends that I like to play with during the week, although I can get upset if I think mom might leave me. I have a few more hairs than when I was born, but not many more. Anywhoo...I am a very cute boy.

My first Auburn game

Even though my first Auburn game was a really long day, it was everything my parents said it would be and more. I met lots of new people that all wanted to hold me. Everyone said I was really cute. My parents took me to the game, but it was just too loud (especially when my dad screamed) and I got a little scared. I didn't even make it to kickoff. It was OK because I got to hang out with my grandmom Boney during the game.

My assessments on the experience? Well, my family sure knows how to tailgate. That was a lot of fun - I got to meet another Auburn fan like me there. Auburn was beautiful, just like I remember it, though this time there were a lot more people there. I'm really excited to get the opportunity again soon to go back to Jordan-Hare Stadium. Even though all the people screaming made me scared, I think I was just so overwhelmed at the joy of hearing finally hearing the Auburn song that had played on my mobile for so long, that I was just emotional. After my dad and my uncle give me a few more Auburn history lessons, I'll be ready to go back in my orange, see the eagle soar, and chest bump them after a big Quinton Groves or Quinn-derick (I mean Sen'Darick) Marks sack or a Kenny Irons touchdown.

Well, I guess that's it. I'm glad to be an Auburn man. Maybe one day, I can go to so many Auburn games that my orange gameday shirt will be as faded as my dad's. I'm excited that Auburn's run to the national championship started with me there! War Eagle!

Moved to Tuscaloosa

Well, I have lived in Tuscaloosa for almost two weeks now. My parents finally got internet, so I can keep my blog updated. T-town has not been all that bad to tell you the truth. It has a Milos, Publix, and other stores that mom likes to shop at. My dad started law school today, so we will miss having him around the house. Yesterday I went to the doctor and had to get several shots. I didn't like that at all! I weighed 11lbs. 14 oz. and was 24 inches long. My weight was in the 5o percentile, but my height was in the 90 percentile. I am going to be a tall boy. I am also sleeping more and more and letting my mom and dad sleep for stretches of 6-8 hours at a time. My favorite things are my Aubie mobile, my activity center with lights and music, my soft bunny blanket, and ceiling fans.

my first vacation

So, my parents are pretty slow at helping me update my site, but they say that they are pretty busy with all the growing that I'm doing. Whatever. Anyway, I wanted to show you some pictures of my first vacation, a trip with the Galloway family to the beaches of St. George Island, FL. It was a great time!

This is me and my Gammy. I'm getting ready to go lay out at the beach. Even though I couldn't get out in the sun, I loved laying in my pack and play on the beach.

This is me and my mom, back from a rough day of relaxing at the beach.

These are my second cousins, Ben and Erin, who terrorized me during my week there.

Me, my cousin Rylie, Gammy, and Pappy. I'm ready to ride on Pappy's shoulders like Rylie.

And, finally, this is all of us at the beach. My dad really likes my fratty outfit.

Thanks for reading this far on my blog. I'm going to try to get it updated more often, though that might be hard the next week or so as we move to some city in west Alabama for my dad to start law school. For some reason, my parents won't tell me exactly what city we're headed to.

more pictures...

I don't want to be too self-absorbed on my blog with photos of myself, so I've created another location where you can view pictures. Go to themightyquinn.shutterfly.com and you'll find some there.

You'll have to enter a password...just think about where my parents would want me to attend college.

Q

welcome to my blog

I want to welcome everyone to the blog home of the newest edition of the Boney family, Lindsey C Boney V. Most of my friends and family, however, call me Quinn.

"The Mighty Quinn" comes from an old Bob Dylan song in which the refrain changes to say "When Quinn the Eskimo gets here everybody's going to jump for joy / everybody's going to run to him / everybody's going to want to know" and then continues with "You ain't seen nothing like the Mighty Quinn."

Though my parents didn't name me Quinn because of this song, I found it quite appropriate for my first nickname.

So, I've attached a few pictures and I might put up a link to more pictures if my dad can ever figure out the best way to get this thing going. I hope that you all enjoy my site.

Make sure that on future visits you type in the-mighty-quinn.blogger.com to view this page. If you don't use the dashes, you won't be able to get back here.
